Description
The development of the LTV is based on the institutional plan and technical achievements of the initiative “Co-construction of a low-emissions and climate change-resilient development strategy for Senegal and an articulated methodological approach to its development in 3 stages: Initial phase of alignment and planning, phase of development of the LTV report and phase of political validation and popularization of the LTV. It takes into account the orientations and strategic objectives defined in the Emerging Senegal Plan (PSE ), the CDN, national sectoral policies as well as the contributions of non-state actors.
The project is financed by IKI through 2050 Platform and implemented by ENDA ENERGIE in close collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment, Sustainable Development and Ecological Transition (MEDDTE) and the Ministry of Oil and Energy ( MPE).

Contribute to the objective set by the Paris Agreement by selecting low-carbon trajectories that are resilient to climate change.

Goals
The objective of this project is to support the development of a Long-Term Vision (LTV) document to guide the co-construction and selection of necessary interventions consistent with the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
A roadmap for the next key steps of Senegal's LTLEDS in terms of additional research and analysis needs, government plans on policy development and implementation, will be developed under this project.
